The Harp Innposted by Jacco van den Hoek: 14/06/2015
A pint with a view...
On days like this, dark clouds and a nearing summer storm, the white facade illuminates in sharp contrast with it's background. A constant rhythm of clear obscure, changes in ambience accompanied by cold gusts and warm rays of sun. This is nature at work...
This oil painting of The Harp Inn shows the old miners pub that has been there since the eighteenth century. It still is a place to refill after a walk through the marshes or a trip by bike on the Wirral Way.
